Remesh is looking for an experienced sales professional. If you love to be involved in the building of a company from the ground up and aren't afraid to get your hands a little dirty then you'll jump at the idea of shaping the next major wave in customer-centric research at Remesh. Our product is used today by leading Brands, Innovation Agencies, Consultancies, Public Relations, and Market Research Agencies to help clients drive product, messaging, and marketing execution decisions through quick, iterative, and deep conversations directly with large, targeted audiences.
We are building a distributed, real-time system for understanding groups of people at scale and we need your help to grow.
Position Description

As Sales Manager-Eastern US, your main focus will be prospecting and cultivating leads, with the goal being to schedule a demo for your prospects. You will put together targets and be responsible for signing new clients and overseeing their growth.
You’ll have to be flexible, reliable, results-oriented, quick-thinking, and a team player. You will have the opportunity to work with the entire marketing research industry, Fortune 2000 accounts and some of the largest, most well-known brands. The ideal candidate will have a track record of exceeding expectations in selling research solutions or SaaS platforms. Candidate will be an excellent listener, intellectually curious, quickly able to understand prospects’ business issues and advocate how Remesh’s solutions are a fit.

Job Responsibilities

• In your assigned territory: Identify specific accounts, contacts, and opportunities for new customer acquisition
• Create and execute effective outreach campaigns averaging 100 calls/emails per week to prospect accounts to set appointments (don't worry, we have a healthy level of inbound traffic here)
• Accurately explain Remesh's value proposition to prospects and clients
• Meet and exceed aggressive yet obtainable sales quotas and objectives
• Maintain relationships with research agencies and end clients, giving them sales demonstrations and understanding their
• Work closely with the executive team on other initiatives as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.
• Self-motivated and willing to take responsibility for growth and development
• A hunter sales mentality, must excel at building professional relationships quickly
• High degree of technical literacy
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage a large number of leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities in a CRM system quickly and accurately
• Detail oriented and organized

Desired Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the marketing research industry
• Understanding of marketing practices and basic market research techniques, including sampling
• Proficiency in a Customer Relationship Management system (preferably salesforce.com)
• Be located in the NYC metro area and the ability to commute into the office most days


Travel, primarily within the Eastern half of the US & Canada, is required for this position.
