We are looking for a highly motivated, responsible, and committed individual to interface and manage relationships with technical customers, and generate technical requirements for customer projects and R&D. Candidates should be knowledgeable about lithium ion battery technology, basic electronics, data analysis and statistics, cost modeling of electronics, and the automotive industry. Candidates should be passionate about creating a more sustainable future.

A hired applicant would work directly with ReJoule’s executive and engineering teams to:
- Develop product ideas based on customer interests
- Identify customer problems and drive technical requirements of prototypes
- Coordinate prototype submissions with relevant external and internal personnel
- Analyze feasibility, cost, and return of both project-based and licensing contracts
- Analyze market and industry trends and conditions
- Perform market analysis on competing products and brands
- Manage the budget requirements for projects and grants
- Find solutions to complex issues and quickly test assumptions on the fly in a fast-paced environment
- Build a cleaner future with unprecedented battery data and analysis that will maximize the value of every battery
- Work environment: 70% office and lab, 30% travel

Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in automotive or stationary storage industry
- BS Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Excellent verbal/written communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Technical writing and documentation
- Experience in the automotive industry in a technical role such as engineering, research and development, technical procurement, supplier management, etc
- Experience with ISO, IEEE, or UL standards and certification testing procedures
- Experience in power systems industry with an understanding of distributed generation technologies (PV, Wind) and energy storage systems (ESS)
- Basic background in data science to build data flows to validate hypotheses
- Data analysis using Python/R/MATLAB with strong fundamentals in statistics and computational methods
- Experience using CRM tools
- Flexible to travel for conferences and meetings
