Recess is looking for a talented and experienced Account Manager to join our expanding team in our Venice Beach, CA office. In this role you will have the opportunity to directly impact the growth of the company by retaining and growing our growing list of customers.

This position will be the main point of contact with our customers once the sales team has closed an initial deal. You will be responsible for representing the Recess brand, product, and ensuring the highest level of customer service to each of our customers so that they have the best possible experience that keeps them coming back. Once a set of events or campaign has finished you will maintain each account and focus on selling in more campaigns and deepening our relationship. To do this you’ll become an expert in our business, our product, event sponsorship technology, and understanding our customer pain points and how they measure success.

A Day in The Life:
- Creating and maintaining client facing documents for tracking statuses, approvals, and timelines
- Maintaining communications with customers that are currently in campaigns to ensure that their needs are met
- Coordinating event logistics for our customer’s sponsorships with Event Organizer’s
- Creating recommendations for future events and campaigns based on a customer’s previous experience and generate incremental sales
- Maintaining and organizing the sales pipeline and activity record using our CRM

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact after a campaign is sold in including hosting kick-off calls, creating tracking documents, and coordinating with our internal teams
- Become an expert at using our product and make recommendations for improvements
- Host campaign debriefs to understand the effectiveness and make recommendations for future events to drive sales
- Learn strategies and ways to expand and grow our accounts
- Communicate client strategies and goals to internal teams to help source more supply where it is needed
- Document daily activity in the CRM
- Become an expert on converting early customers to power users of our platform
- Ensure all event logistics are accurately and effectively communicated to the customer teams activating on-site
- Provide input on ways we can streamline processes
- Quality check product to ensure all aspects of product function properly and are as intuitive as possible
- Correspond with event organizers to ensure prompt responses
- Proactively troubleshoot bugs and eliminate waste from our systems
- Navigate an ambiguous, low oversight role and thrive in uncertainty by applying a bias towards proactive problem solving

Minimum Requirements:
- At least 4 years of previous experience in a similar position in customer success and/or account management
- Previous experience working with and coordinating event sponsorships
- Previous experience working in sales and managing a pipeline in CRM
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional professional communication skills, both oral and written
- Passionate about improving our user experience and relations
- Strong attention to detail, organized and driven
- Must be a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Team player that has a can-do-anything mentality
