Regional Talent Manager – 6 month contract

 About the role:

Part of the Global HR team and the wider community of expertise, this position will report to the Regional Head HR and support the Global Talent Management Director in designing, developing and implementing plans to deliver a systematic and coherent program of talent management covering major employee lifecycle stages (onboarding, performance management, career development, etc.)  for the European region. This regional role is based in Barcelona, however reports into the regional HQ in Luxembourg (direct reporting line into Head of HR Europe and dotted line into Global Talent Management function). Its is 6 month contract to cover a maternity leave but there is potential for the role to extend passed 6 months.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting the development of the region’s Talent Management strategy, understanding the business needs across the regions, highlighting best practice and building robust programs to create real business value from the investment.
* Rolling out talent mobility programs, managing all aspects (design, budget, communication, liaising with participants and HRBPs, logistics) to ensure a smooth experience for participants and achievement of program objectives.
* Driving HRIS Performance Management module implementation in EMEA in collaboration with the Global team. This includes process design, communication with local/regional/global stakeholders, training and close monitoring of process compliance.
* Working closely with regional/local HR teams, sharing regional updates during periodic calls.
* Partnering with company HR and Group HR functions to roll out cultural on-boarding and change programs.
* Creating a communications plan to promote understanding of the development programs and opportunities.
* Identifying latest trends and sharing best practice knowledge within the local/regional HR teams.
* Supporting other regional projects linked to employee engagement, as required.

Requirements:

* Good experience (+4 years) specializing in Talent Management and Development.
* Bachelor’s degree required, post graduate qualification is desirable.
* Fluency in English.
* Functional expertise in Talent solutions design, career development and/or other related OD processes, within a complex, matrix organization.
* Strong experience in project/ program management.
* Knowledge of best and emerging practices in talent management including leveraging technology-based solutions.
* Experience in performance management design.
* Attention to detail; strong analytic, verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly collaborative with ‘hands-on’ and ‘getting things done’ attitude’.
* Planning and tactical implementation experience, ideally evidence of innovative approach. 
* Relevant Tech sector experience would be a distinct advantage.
