The Design Team
Quoori’s design team is a close-knit, ambitious group responsible for creating a software product that harmoniously connects humans and technology. Our purpose is to build beautiful and essential product experiences for our users by deeply understanding the culture and complexities between them and the machines that surround them. Artificial intelligence is a core focus in what we design, and a fascinating challenge we build upon as it continues to emerge rapidly in our world today. We aren’t designing your everyday app on the market, we’re building something unconventional and essential for everybody, and we love doing it.

The Role
As a Sr. Product Designer at Quoori, you'll be an ambidextrous designer taking software design to the next level. Because you’re joining us at an early stage of our journey, you’ll have the unique opportunity to not only shape your role but also be part of the DNA that Quoori will be known for.

You traverse many design disciplines including information architecture, user research, ideation, interaction design, and occasionally visual design. You are a deep thinker, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator with a passion for creating functional and extraordinary products. You are not bound by rules and conformity, you seek out the big solutions and are an advocate for the best ideas. Your creative problem-solving abilities inspire you to take on interesting and new challenges to create the best user experiences.

You also bring the following skills or experiences to our team:

• 5+ years of experience in UX and product design.
• Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in the study of design including one of the following; Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, or Human Factors, or equivalent project/portfolio experience.
• Complete UX Skills: workshop facilitation, problem discovery, solution generation, concept creation, wireframing, testing, synthesis, iteration, prototyping in Figma, heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, customer journey mapping, applying design systems, and producing deliverables for development.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of design and prototyping tools like Figma, Invision, or others.
• Awareness of web and mobile technology (i.e., JavaScript, HTML/CSS).
• Enthusiasm for emerging technologies is desired; the ability to stay on the forefront of industry trends is a big plus.
• Excellent communication skills

In a typical week could be:

• Leading site-wide systems design, understanding common needs across the web ecosystem, and explaining global web solutions.
• Partnering with Design, engineering, and other teams to organize discovery and strategic conversations that affect the ongoing product development.
• Partnering with the CDO to optimize how content is crafted.
• Optimizing the Quoori product experience based on an understanding of usage metrics and telemetry.
• Creating prototypes and participating in usability testing sessions.

• Product management, engineers, and design teams to bring an ongoing roadmap of interactive features to life.
• UX Research, Consumer Insights, and analytics to inform UX strategy and ensure site optimizations are measurably improving the player experience.

• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JS
• An active GitHub profile
• Experience and interest in emergent technologies — Voice, AI, AR/VR, and Robotics
