As a member of our curriculum development team, you will develop new English, social studies, and civics activities and instructional materials. To develop these activities, you will select passages, develop prompts, and write targeted feedback based on student responses. These pieces of feedback will then be used by our AI team to build algorithms that can automatically serve feedback for hundreds of thousands of students. In addition to authoring new activities, you will work with students and school-based staff to test new activities and provide support.

Since you will be creating non-fiction humanities activities, knowledge of building expository writing skills is essential. You should be comfortable assessing a wide range of student responses and generating helpful feedback for each response in student-friendly language. You should also be able to adapt your writing for various levels of reading fluency and English language development, while also considering age-appropriate content and tone.
