The Role

Quick’rCare is seeking an intern who will assist in the implementation of its social marketing efforts, specifically in the following areas: Facebook, Instagram and Twitter community management, content management and distribution, analytics and tour promotions. Our overarching goal is to connect with and distribute content and messaging to consumers in such a way that is targeted, welcomed, and will ultimately encourage positive word-of-mouth about our services across social media avenues.

Duties and Responsibilities
Create visually appealing content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. The content should elevate the company’s brand messaging and increase engagement—ensuring uniform content and tone of voice. Enact a plan to increase the number of social media followers across all platforms.
Brainstorm, create content and draft copy for daily content across social media platforms.
Maintain a monthly social media and blogging calendar and ensure that deadlines are met.
Help coordinate a guest blogger program, one guest blogger per month. Help to amplify this content through other social media channels. Drive awareness of new blog posts by posting into forums and groups.
Monitor and stay on top of emerging trends in social media, culture and applications to appropriately apply that knowledge for content creation.
Repurpose relevant and mission aligned content from other sources for our own social media channels (and understand how to change the tone of the content for each channel).

What You Will Learn and Gain:

How to identify themed content and to source additional content that fits the aesthetics of a brand.
How you can create more engagement with captions that ask questions or bring a call to action.
The importance of user rights when sourcing photos/crediting images.
Time management skills of what it is like handling multiple marketing campaigns.
Always being informed on the latest, most up-to-date information regarding social media/marketing.
Experienced education on the ever-changing social media algorithms.
