Backend Software Engineer - NodeJs

This opportunity is regarding a newly launched product Qudify (www.qudify.co) which is a QR code based visitor management and meeting room management tool along with hybrid booking management tool.

We are looking for a talented, mid-level Node.js Backend Engineer who can excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to drive major features.

Responsibilities:

• Minumum 2+ years working in back-end API development with Node.js.
• Proven experience in NodeJS and databases like MongoDB, MySQL.
• Must have expertise in jquery, javascript JSON, XML and database concepts
• Design, develop, and maintain core backend features.
• Experience with Express.js, Loopback, SailsJS, Meteor.js or any other frameworks.
• Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
  • Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development would be an added advantage.
• Experience consuming and building robust, SOAP and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding and extensive experience with version control tools like Git, SVN or Mercurial with a sense of Agile methodologies.
• Experience in unit and integration testing frameworks will be a plus
• Basic experience in AWS preferred.
• Prior working experience on SAAS product will be prefered

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is required. A Master’s Degree a plus!
• A minimum of 2-3 year experience as a developer.
• Node.js experience.
• MongoDB experience.
• Comfortable with Git.
