Imagine a world so efficient you never had to give another thought to running out of dog food, coffee beans, or any other household item you use ever again. Instead, the companies that supplied those items would know exactly when to deliver replacements, freeing you from the monthly burden of manually stocking the essentials.

This is the service that Pulsa provides to its business customers. Instead of household goods, we are automating the replenishment of consumable inventory items that a business delivers to its customers. A couple examples of inventory types are: gas cylinders, welding wire, chemicals, beer kegs, fasteners, medical consumables, food and many others. Our products monitor consumption of everyday consumables through a variety of weight and pressure sensors, and automatically send warnings, submit orders, or trigger other actions before our users run out.

From the development of our low cost inventory sensors to the placement of replenishment orders, we provide the end-to-end solution that is easy to use, low-cost, and driven by forward looking intelligence to optimize supply chain and distribution decisions. Our north star is ensuring that businesses do not run out of inventory.


The Role
Pulsa is looking for our first Business Development Representative to work closely with the founding team on building a repeatable sales model. You will be in a position to substantially impact Pulsa’s sales and architect the future of our sales organization. More than anything, we are looking for a good human who wants to win; someone who is not easily defeated. We are building something that changes the way businesses operate; a net new approach that does not exist today, and disrupts how inventory-based businesses work.

We are wrong until that moment when everything clicks. It will be exciting, but it will not be easy. We care much more about desire to succeed than pedigree. You will be part of a world-class team and you will be well-supported by the sales and product groups. We will rely on you to make strategic and tactical decisions in execution, but also depend on you to provide frontline feedback to help steer our product roadmap decisions.


What you will do:
- Hunt for leads, map enterprise accounts, and build demand for Pulsa’s products
- Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social mediums
- Prospect new business with creative, compelling and break-through-the noise tactics
- Successful development of customer pipeline


An ideal candidate would have:

- High level of interest in the IoT space
- Innate drive and grit to be successful
- Fearlessness - willing to hop on the phone with new people every day and explain Pulsa’s value proposition as it relates to each individual you speak with
- Naturally curious about how things work and motivated to learn
- Desire to grow, learn, and expand in the role
