Propane is a platform experience agency positioned to take the landscape by storm. We are currently looking to complete our lineup with a driven and growth oriented Business Development Director. With this maturity and expertise, we have a clear understanding of what is needed to help the Propane team accomplish expected growth goals.


1.) Be able to internalize and elevate narratives/stories around our current case studies while articulating them to C-Level and VP level prospects.

2.) Create net new relationships through targeted phone, email, and tradeshow channels by taking an ABM approach.

3.) Have expertise in consultative approach selling via business case inquiry and modeling.


EXPERIENCE:
• 8 - 10 years of business development experience in consultancy or digital agency
• Proven success growing and managing leads list and reporting using CRMs
• Experience collecting context from prospects
• Ensure consistent pitch delivery excellence, ties to a client’s strategic imperatives
• Win-win negotiator with solid business acumen relevant to an agency
• Ability to lead a seasoned group of disciplinary practitioners through pitches
• Excels in a dynamic, fast-paced, but strongly consultative small organization
• Expertise in creating pitches using a combination of boilerplate and custom slides in Keynote or powerpoint
• Ability to coach others for written and oral communications to C-Level executives
• Proven ability to work independently and as a team member in a highly matrixed organization
• Ability to be flexible and work in a problem-solving environment
• Knowledge and understanding of large scale packaged application implementation
• Have experience in hiring and managing sales support staff as we scale the department


REQUIREMENTS:
• MBA preferred. We are looking for business savvy professionals that are curious about marketing, organizational, and operational elements of our client’s business. This will match up directly to our consultative approach as a whole.
