Position Overview
The ideal candidate for this position is an ambitious self-starter with experience in the eCommerce industry. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about eCommerce and has a fierce hunger to learn more about the overall business.
The ideal candidate will need to be a fast and an effective multi-tasker with good industry knowledge and an ability to manage a high-volume workload. The individual must also understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements. It is critical that the chosen candidate possesses high levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. The successful candidate will take initiative and have the natural skillset to start tasks with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations which require a quick turnaround and efficiently complete projects that meet company objectives.

This is a casual small office environment that offers schedule flexibility assuming this individual takes “ownership” of their role in the company. This position will require communicating to not only leadership, but to assistants in varying locations/time zones.

Responsibilities
This person will report directly to Senior Leadership and will oversee product portfolio operations, inventory, product development, digital marketing efforts, customer communications and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively oversee a team of people to execute a single vision for sales growth and a seamless customer experience.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

● Overseeing Amazon account health through keyword-optimized listings and Amazon policy adherence
● Setting up, tracking and optimizing SEO strategy and PPC advertising campaigns
● Strategically planning product marketing efforts, including generating excitement for new product rollout through Facebook, Instagram and Email marketing
● Collaborating with Operations to bring new products to market and ensure product is properly forecasted
● Reporting sales and growth efforts to Senior Leadership
● Creating, monitoring and optimizing Amazon campaign ads
● Inventory/manufacturer communication, placing orders, fulfillment and shipping communication
● Product listing promotions
● New product launches, holiday deals, lightning deals, best deals, PPC, facebook ads, etc.
● Oversight of product launch strategy, customer targeting & calendar for new and seasoned products
● Oversee high volume returns from Amazon. Sort/send back/relist product based on condition and need
● Enhanced branding communication with graphic designers
● Customer support for high priority questions


Basic Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
● GPA of 3.3 or higher
● 3+ years of experience in digital marketing and eCommerce
● Previous experience with Amazon seller accounts is preferred

Preferred Qualifications
● Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills
● Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, as well as strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive programs
● High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside of organization
● Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
● Positive, proactive and able to always exercise great judgement
● Self-starter with ability to take initiative and work in a highly ambiguous environment
● Experience with Amazon, Facebook ad creation, ManyChat, Shopify, Klaviyo or Zapier is a plus
