Job Opening for Magento Developer

Experience- 6 months to 3 years.

Skills/Experience Required:

Knowledge and experience on Magento 2.x is mandatory
Deep understanding of the Magento's code structure, architecture and data flow
Expert knowledge in theming, authoring and extending Magento extensions
Extensive experience in customizing Magento front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates
Thorough understanding of Magento concepts of, Models, Controllers, Helpers, Observers etc.
Experience with caching and scaling techniques is an added advantage
Experience in implementing multi-store / multi-lingual / multi-currency is added advantage
Extensive experience in PHP/ MySQL and focussed on OOPS concept.
Exposure on PHP Frameworks such as Codeigniter / Laravel / Symfony
Competent in JavaScript and JS libraries
Competent in XML, XHTML, CSS
Competent in web services API integrations (REST/SOAP)
Knowledge in Linux environments
Good knowledge of GIT concepts and operations
Experience with a DigitalOcean and AWS website deployment is a plus
Knowledge of AngularJS is a plus
Experience in other platforms like Shopify, WordPress, Joomla. Drupal is a plus
Should have worked in 2 or more published Magento sites.


Developer Responsibilities:

Develop and manage eCommerce applications using the Magento platform
Analyze, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications
Participate in project & deployment planning
Develop/Maintain Magento extensions based on requirements
Customize 3rd party Magento extensions
Customize Magento functionalities by following Magento standards
Diagnose and fix bugs
Understand the performance bottlenecks of Magento and write optimized code
Must be a self-starter & be able to work with minimum supervision
Coordinate well with the team
