SUMMARY

The Business Development and Partnerships Manager is responsible for managing and growing existing partner and third-party relationships while driving new business partnerships and deals as well as overseeing project management efforts to drive operational priorities and efficiencies and prepare strategic plans for senior management. This role is focused on driving revenue and brand extension for PrettyLitter products and will collaborate with product, tech and business leaders. You will bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s brand, market penetration, and vision.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify Business Partnership Opportunities: Have a keen eye for business opportunities and strategic partnerships to create an ecosystem based on affinity scores, audience overlap, and projected reach. Use strong networking and research skills to identify warm and cold leads to build value-generating relationships with various companies and individuals. While scoping, conduct due diligence and analysis to make recommendations and report to leadership.

• Propose and Negotiate Partnerships: Work with partners to identify and leverage opportunities to increase the value of current customers and acquire more customers through traditional and novel methods. Present mutually beneficial proposals that maximize returns, align with company initiatives, and outline deliverables. Build an ecosystem of partnerships to optimize content delivery through channels such as email, website, branding, social, video, joint offers, and cross-functional promotions.

• Manage Ongoing Partnerships: Uphold strong relationships with partners while utilizing networks to build further connections while representing the interests of PrettyLitter. Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and creativity will be utilized when approaching many new opportunities and overcoming hesitation or hurdles. Provide support and act as a liaison for partner relationships in a prompt and reliable manner, prioritizing internal and external needs.

• Tracking and Key Metrics: Deliver on ROI for current and new partnerships, measuring qualitative and quantitative outcomes and optimize accordingly. Data first methodology to build a streamlined tracking process and leverage tools to build robust pipelines and track current and future relationships to accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools (CRM) and proper documentation. Produce and present regular reports on workflow, key successes, developments, hurdles, and other updates.

• Influencer Partnerships: Identify relevant influencers for outreach to partner with PrettyLitter. Instigate outreach and promotion based on influencer audience and create framework for compensation and returns based on reach, engagement, and other factors. Create a database of these potential partners for future outreach and track progress. Work cross-functionally with marketing and our social media team to execute partnerships and maintain brand consistency.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, etc.

• Proactive individual with strong business drive and eye for opportunity

• 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing or account management

• Strong drive and entrepreneurial mindset to thrive with minimal guidance

• Analytically skilled, strategic thinker able to execute big-picture and highly detailed operations
