About the role

You will own the accounting function for a high growth, privately held company operating in many markets worldwide and will have 7 legal entities by the end of 2019. We are looking for an individual to scale the infrastructure, systems, processes and controls to support growth on a global basis with integrity, leadership, process knowledge and deep technical expertise. Key Areas of Responsibility

* Manage all operational accounting and collaborate with global teams to ensure timely reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
* Help drive several new revenue initiatives which will go online in the next 2 quarters
* Assess operational risks and implement controls, policies and procedures on a global basis to enable optimal business decisions
* Own the ongoing audit relationship with external auditors and possess the ability to assess and conclude on technical accounting issues, particularly around revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, equity arrangements, inventory and M&A
* Partner with business leaders throughout the Company to drive operational effectiveness and reporting including software bookings, demand planning, commissions and inventory management
* Assist with the review of all commercial partner & vendor contracts to identify business risks and accounting positions
* Collaborate with the FP&A team to drive and optimize monthly reporting
* Assist with all global tax accounting including compliance, provision and transfer pricing
* Manage consolidation of subsidiary financial results, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency
* Mentor and build teams as the Company scales


You should apply for this role if you have the following qualifications:

* CPA required, with Big 4 audit background
* 10-15 years experience with a combination of public accounting and private industry; SaaS experience preferred
* You can demonstrate deep GAAP technical expertise
* You have a proven track record and ability to mentor and hire teams with a hands on approach to managing and solving problems
* You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to interact with executive leadership
* BA in Accounting or Finance

* You are familiar with Fintech or payment processing technologies
* You have Netsuite experience
* You have the ability to efficiently analyze large amounts of data; SQL experience
* Experience with hardware accounting a ++
