We are looking for a customer-obsessed, data driven and technologically savvy growth hacker. Your job will be figuring out the market, learning the existing demand and both pulling the most relevant audience out there and pushing our value proposition at the best cost possible. We expect you to have experience in marketing for traditional retail finance / banking, FinTech or consumer goods.


You will have to be a creative self-starter used to have limited resources. Your will have to roll up your sleeves -- vet the marketing strategy and go implement it. However, do stay put -- we need to be quick in figuring out what doesn’t work and adjust course.


Our product is osOm, a game-changing personal finance app spanning across traditional and token economy. We will provide our user with a comprehensive view of their finances and help them manage those better. We are an early stage company on a mission to guide humanity to money zen. People have better things to do than trying to figure out their finances. We need to help them stay on top of their money business.

Responsibilities


Ensure we find our customers, convert them, act on their feedback and find the next ones while keeping the ones we have


Strategic Marketing - the “thinking hat” part

Map user groups, research their presence and understand what it takes to convert each of them
Make sure the customer voice is heard loud & clear throughout product evolution and feature prioritization process.
Track and share market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new product information, relaying customer requests
Mind the 80/20 rule, especially with research - no time nor the resources of a big corporate, but we have agility

Operational Marketing - the “roll up your sleeves” part

Ensure that we talk to our users where they are and convert cost-efficiently (hint: FB and Google campaings aren't always the answer)
Be “hands on” in taking us to our users
Provide input to branding and communications for content production
Help out with SEO to ensure our content ranks high in organic search
We expect you to be obsessed with getting more users to the extent it becomes contagious
Help identify and track the key user conversion, journey and satisfaction metrics -- help ensure we score high on all of them
Efficiently manage third-party providers to deliver results fast and cheap
Don’t be shy to write copy where appropriate and co-manage channels
Pay attention that whatever we do is focused on either ensuring we keep the existing users or acquire new ones

Candidate Characteristics


Proficiency in :

Customer behaviour analysis and interpretation
SEO, Web analytics, Google Adwords, social network advertising, Facebook Business Manager, Google tag manager,...
Marketing automation & building user happiness retention in product
Setting up automated processes

Proven track record in taking a product to market
Preferred B2C experience in the traditional retail finance / banking, FinTech or consumer goods
Experience sourcing and managing a network of key suppliers

Self-Starter : you don’t just fix problems we give you, you proactively look where you can add value and see it through
Flexible : a pivot, a sudden change in operational model or priorities doesn’t scare you. We go where the data suggests, and you are happy with that.
Growth-mindset : you believe there is always room to improve, take constructive feedback and act on it. You are willing and happy to learn new things to make the product work for our customers, whatever it takes.

Analytical thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions
Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
Strategic Planning: good problem solving, organizational and analytical skills and the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends
Cross Functional Teams: Experience working with distributed teams. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to navigate all levels of the organization.
Strong verbal & written English as well as French and/or Flemish; Russian is a plus
