Polarr is looking for a Business Development Manager to manage and expand our technology licensing business. In this role, you will work with both huge customers (multi-million dollar yearly bookings) as well as small developer accounts with a goal of maximizing the impact of Polarr's technology to the world.

You have:
• Proven experience in a business development and account management.
• Led and closed accounts of $10-20m+ in aggregate and/or have established partnerships with 5+ companies each with a market cap of more than $1bn.
• Experience in the technology licensing, joint-distribution, co-marketing with technology companies in consumer electronics, entertainment, and social apps.
• The ability to build a strong network of potential clients, leveraging existing relationships or through the cultivation of new ones.

You will: 
• Identify, engage, negotiate and close partnerships that maximize the impact of our technology on the world.
• Work closely with various other team members, including engineering, product and finance to develop an enterprise growth strategy second to none.
• Effectively calculate and communicate your OKRs, progress, wins and losses to the team.

You are: 
• Detail-oriented, remembers every deal you have negotiated, every term, every nuance and both your wins and losses.
• An eloquent, articulate, effective, creative and eclectic communicator.
• Excellent listener and able to pick up implicit signals and understand key requests from customers.
• Data driven, seeking evidence and data in all your pursuits.
• Skilled in contract negotiations and familiar with concepts like indemnifications, wind-downs, arbitration, etc.
• Fearless, tenacious, relentless and always looking for the next deal.
• Organized, nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
• Scrappy, comfortable with chaos and discomfort, start up experience a plus!
• Conversational in Mandarin, Korean or Japanese (a plus, but not required).
