We are seeking a charismatic and friendly rockstar to join our incredible sales team.

Your goal would be to find creative ways to activate and engage venues and users as we expand our reach throughout the United States.

This position is great for recent college graduates, or anyone looking to launch a career in sales/start-up tech.

What You'll do:

Plan & approach an inside sales strategy for Major Markets

Generate business opportunities and manage your sales pipeline

Strategize on overall growth & success of new markets

Call restaurant operators, Executive Chefs, CFOs, and Controllers to determine if Plate IQ is a good fit for their hospitality group.

Qualifications:

Confidence, Positivity, and Eagerness to Learn: We have a collaborative and high energy sales team.

Strong phone presence: The phone is your greatest tool. Dedication and resilience are critical to success in inside sales.

Strong Writing/Email Skills: In this day and age, one must be well equipped in writing emails that could open the door to big prospects.

Sales Instincts: You have strong sales instincts and an ability to sniff out opportunities and roadblocks.

Excellent verbal and listening skills: Communication is key, whether internally with our team or when speaking with clients.

Adaptability: As a fast growing startup, things change in the blink of an eye. You need to be able to adapt, grow, and evolve at lightning speeds.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in Sales (B2B SaaS a plus)

Sales & CRM / Salesforce experience a plus

(If experienced) Proven track record of exceeding your sales quota

Capacity to negotiate and cut through rejection to achieve sales goals

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:

Phone Sales & Customer Onboarding. We use a variety of sales tools like salesforce and YesWare to communicate with our new clients.

New Market/Vertical Strategy - We are at the beginning of a nationwide rollout. You will need to quickly learn about, strategize and help develop sales growth and strategies in new markets across the country.
