Making satellite imagery useful

Jobs at Pixxel

Pixxel is a space-tech startup based out of Bengaluru working on building a constellation of the world’s most advanced imaging nanosatellites. The goal is to beam down high-resolution imagery down to earth and create a one-stop solution for instantaneous, universally accessible, inexpensive information about every location on Earth. Our first satellite has been manufactured and is currently under testing. We're booked for a launch to Lower-earth orbit this year. We're also working on building our next batch of satellites and laying out our data infrastructure.

The absence of any perceptible shift in Chinese VC enthusiasm for Indian space startups requires explanation, given how optimistic Chinese VCs have been regarding the other sectors of the Indian startup economy. Globally, there has been a surge in Venture Capital (VC) investment in space startups; however, Indian Venture Capitalists (VCTs) have still been reluctant to invest to the same extent as their counterparts outside India.
