We are looking for a Scientific Programmer\Software Engineer who possesses a passion for pushing pattern analysis to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our predictive engine insights. Ideal candidate will have a “hackathon” type attitude to fail fast and succeed faster. The role of the Scientific Programmer\Software Engineer involves the design, development of cutting edge machine learning algorithms to analyze data gathered by vehicle sensory networks.

Responsibilities
● Design and build advanced algorithms surrounding vehicle prognostics
● Cleaning & classifying datasets in preparation for algorithm analysis
● Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Sales, Marketing, Engineering) to define, design, and ship new features.
● Unit-test code for robustness, including usability and general reliability.
● Work on bug fixing and improving architecture performance.
● Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize
development efficiency.

Requirements
● Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related
● 2+ years of experience shipping high quality software to enterprise customers.
● 2+ years of experience in Python, R or a similar scripting language
● 2+ years of experience in Java, C++
● 2+ years of experience implementing machine learning, data mining, and business intelligence solutions.
● Experience with data analysis tools such as Weka, Tableau or Excel
● Experience with Hadoop
● Knowledge of version control systems (Git, CVS or SVN)

Desired Experience
(In addition to the aforementioned requirements.)
● Experience with automotive data analysis.
● Experience with Deep Learning techniques.
● Experience in the automobile industry.
● Previous startup experience, preferably in an early stage startup.
