Who are we?

Phileas Systems is a cloud innovative B2B software that serve as an ERP for hotels.
Through different R&D phases, we build modules that help hotelier manage their distribution, revenu and operations. We work hand in hand with hoteliers to build our solution.
We started in April 2018 and after 2 fund raisings and 6 people working full time we commercially launched our first module and are starting the R&D of the second one.
Innovation is our culture, hospitality our priority.

Your mission?

To support the growth of our business, we are seeking an experienced back-end developer to join the team.
You will be working on the R&D of the new module which will help hotelier manage operation and integrate the first IOT cases.
You will work on an end to end integration based on a full serverless environment. You will contribute to the development of the backend services/APIs of the solution.


- Build and maintain a serverless microservices stack.
- Optimize services orchestration to maximise speed, efficiency and scalability while minimising costs.
- Collaborate with front-end developer in wiring internal modules to UI components.
- Collaborate with the CTO on architectural decisions.
- Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

Who you are:

- Experienced with AWS serverless infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of React / Redux / Graphql.
- Proficiency in writing web applications from scratch using industry best practices.
- Have a strong knowledge of package management tools.
- Comfortable with peer-coding, code-reviews, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them.
- Be open to receiving feedback.

Bonus points for:

- Working knowledge with serverless framework.
- Previous experience with Electron framework.
- Previous experience with integrating Stripe Connect.
- Previous experience in tourism industry
