Permutive is looking for talented and empathetic Support Engineers to join our L3 Support Engineering team. This role will be responsible for analysing customer issues, working on short term projects and assisting the Product Engineering team with elements of product development and research.

As a L3 Support Engineer, you'll report directly to the L3 Lead. This role will involve working closely with a team of engineers that have a breadth of technical experience and capabilities: from Research Engineers who work in Haskell on our query language and compiler, to engineers developing our SDKs in TypeScript, Objective-C/Swift and Kotlin/Java.

Your day to day will include:

* Working with our SDKs and helping our customers with deploying code to millions of their users.
* Triaging and investigating system bugs, performance and integration issues
* Building internal tooling to help us streamline and scale our Support Services
* Curating the Engineering backlog and vetting feature requests
* Working closely with both Engineering and the broader Support team.
* Learning our technology stack in-depth and providing feedback, ideas and suggestions for improvement

We don’t expect you to have deep experience in these domains: we're interested in someone who has a passion for innovation and professional growth.

Our ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to join a fast-growing start-up, in a role where you'll be able to have a positive impact and take ownership of the challenges you work on. This role is positioned for career progression into our Product and Engineering teams. As an early hire, you'll have the opportunity to be exposed and contribute to every aspect of the business, from product decisions and development processes to strategy.
