Founders Apprentice / General Hand

We're looking for a keen intern that understands start-ups and is eager to get in involved in one. We want someone who can make a meaningful contribution to our company while learning a lot from the people inside it. We have a preference for management, business or finance students.

We’re only looking for Melbourne based people who are available at least two days per week.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and university student, looking to gain experience in the start-up community.

You'll work directly with the Co-Founder/CEO and senior team members on all aspects of the business as we prepare for our public launch.

You'll help us with just about everything. From product testing to content creation to the preparation of company publications. You’ll also be involved in designing operational & compliance processes that our team will abide by post-launch to make sure our company runs like a well-oiled machine. You can sit in on most meetings and learn how a start-up operates in an agile environment.

We’ll be looking for a pro-active person above all other things, who can work independently, confidently and who can identity problems and find solutions.

The role is unpaid and requires at least 2 days per week working with us at one of Melbourne’s best co-working spaces within the CBD. We won’t consider candidates who are only available 1 day per week.

At the conclusion of your internship we won’t rule out the role turning into a paid position if you’ve proven to be a valuable addition to our team. At the very least you’ll be better equipped to join another start-up or maybe even your own.
