This is a great opportunity to get in early at a VC-backed start-up that is delivering a refreshingly new type of online shopping experience.

Peddler is looking for a kick-ass merchant success representative. Specifically, an ambitious individual who is looking for a real challenge, and is excited about the prospect of creating a true fan base of satisfied customers and merchants.

This is an important role within Peddler and we need someone who is pro-active, fluent in English, knows how to keep everybody super happy and loves getting things done!

What you’ll do:

- Proactively engage with on-boarded merchants to maintain excellent merchant satisfaction.
- ‘Own' a cohort of merchant clients: Manage accounts from registration through to fully on-boarded clients. Main contact for day-to-day account issues, provide tips and support for improving customer engagement with products.
- Follow up with customers and merchants regarding customer queries.
- Respond to merchant support queries across all platforms (Zendesk and social media).
- Ensure a great line of communication between customers and merchants.
- Engage with existing merchants to identify new business opportunities & expand product offering.
- Make sure our ratings and reviews go over the moon.
- Proactively improve automation and process management as part of the Peddler team.

You are/have:
- A passion for creating a successful company from the beginning stages
- Comfortable with taking on a variety of tasks and well organised
- An engaging communicator with strong influencing and presentation skills
- Client-focused
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, specifically for understanding business needs, as well as the strategic and market issues impacting merchant businesses
- Charismatic and outgoing
- Practical, problem solver
- Skills in onboarding and client retention
