Peddler is a marketplace where for the first-time, people from across the world can shop together for the things they've always wanted as a community. Peddler leverages crowd buying power to get unprecedented discounts for the most desirable new products out there.

This is a great opportunity to get in early at a VC-backed start-up that is delivering a refreshingly new type of online shopping experience.

This is an important role within Peddler and we need someone who is pro-active, fluent in English, knows how to keep everybody super happy and loves getting things done!

The Operations Manager will work closely with the CEO and team members to form an integral part of the core team at Peddler.com.

What you’ll do:
- Daily operations
- Organise an efficient and effective operating environment within Peddler, thereby allowing the CEO and other team members to deliver a seamless and scalable product for the customers
- Be very hands on and refine and develop operational model, develop and manage budgets and business operations
- Project manage and deliver all aspects of projects, including hiring and managing operational contractors
- Develop effective working practices and processes to ensure that Peddler product and service achieves agreed high standards
- Administrative tasks relating to payroll, billings & budget

We are looking for people who are passionate about creating a successful startup, therefore you are:
- A creative problem solver with great initiative who is 100% accountable and reliable
- Good written and spoken English (being native speaker will be a plus)
- Enjoy dealing with people and good at making judgements about people
- Pragmatic decision-maker
- Previous experience in operations, human resources or customer service will be also positively considered
- Genuinely eager to push the envelope
- Comfortable getting your hands dirty and taking on a variety of tasks
- Strong communication, influence and presentation skills
- Customer-centric
- Effective organisational and time management skills
- Self-motivated with a very hands-on approach
