This is an EQUITY + Commission based position. The commission during the ramp-up period is very generous, which will more than make up for any risks. If you have not worked for a start-up in the past, feel free to ask us any questions.
We are seeking a real partner here; someone who believes in our vision and wants to grow us through the roof. We have over 1000 customers and two products on the market. There are several players in the space, but they all contain inherent security flaws that we resolve with our product suite, and want someone who can navigate this landscape to acquire new enterprise customers.
The role will begin as an Account Executive, with the opportunity to build a territory office and then your own team and territories under your oversight. You will be responsible for successful execution of the full sales cycle, from warm prospecting and cold outreach, managing a sales pipeline funnel, knowledgeably presenting the product capabilities, tailoring the value proposition to the clients' specific workflows, and most importantly, closing deals or working with the founder and engineering team to create solutions that work.
The expectation is to achieve or exceed quotas for new and repeat, strategic accounts, maintain high activity levels, with assistance, for steady pipeline filling, hire and oversee support sales staff as needed, and provide customer and market feedback and customer requirements into the product development cycle.
- Top performer for subscription-based SaaS sales. B2B is most critical but there is a vast potential for B2C pipelines and sales as well.
- Clearly articulates the features, benefits, and use cases for each product and how they are best used for product purchasing decisions.
- Provide insights, and educate at various stages in the customer buying journey to build a pipeline and move opportunities to close.
- Deal structuring and negotiation.
A hunter sales type with 5+ years of experience meeting and/or exceeding aggressive sales quotas and objectives. B2B field sales experience within the technology industry preferred but not required.
A builder who can take a territory or set of accounts and execute on a strategy to map out the call points, maintain high lead generation prospecting levels to appropriately cover territory and accounts to build a prosperous business.
A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to sell a product/solution via per-user-subscription type deals.
Some marketing experience so that you can add your input into creating quality materials to support your sales efforts.
