Partender Account Executive (AE)

The AE’s role is to drive new business by conducting product demos, educating prospects on the industry and Partender’s product, and closing deals ranging from Small Business to Mid-Market. You will be part of a nimble, high-impact sales team at a rapidly growing startup and should thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will be expected to prospect your own deals and build out your initial sales pipeline from our inbound funnel, eventually focusing on conducting demos and closing by taking over SDRs’ sales-qualified leads. Our prospects range from mom-and-pop operators to multi-billion dollar enterprises dealing with a costly, labor-intensive inventory problem, and you get to help them resolve it!

This is a quota-carrying inside sales role with high-growth potential. Opportunity to move into enterprise sales, outbound sales, sales management or account management.

• Present Partender’s product and value proposition to prospective customers via web demos (up to 6-8 30-minute demos/day), owning follow-up and closing.
• Identify prospects’ unique pain points and, when appropriate, tailor your pitch to position Partender as the ideal solution.
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
• Log all client interactions in CRM (close.io) to ensure the activity is documented.
• Identify inefficiencies in current processes and propose/implement solutions to help scale the sales team.
• Identify trends and communicate with Product and Marketing teams to help improve users’ sales journey.
• Actively work with the sales team to determine a strategic approach for key accounts, potentially moving into outbound or enterprise sales roles.
• Opportunity to attend tradeshows and industry events and optimize/own the follow-up process.

• 1-3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
• Experience handling objections: You recognize the opportunity to educate prospects and take a consultative approach to sell.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills: You’re a critical thinker and uncover the root of a problem rather than addressing the symptoms.
• Strong follow-up skills: You’re a salesperson at heart and understand the importance of timely, consistent follow-up, taking an organized and methodical approach.
• Strong communication skills: You have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills (phone, email and in-person).
• Autonomy and resourcefulness: You take initiative and find ways to make yourself indispensable.
• Adaptability: You enjoy collaborating as a team and are comfortable with ambiguity.
• Prioritization: You can wear multiple hats and juggle tasks without losing the ability to focus and execute.
• Strong work ethic: You’re conscientious, detail-oriented, and place high importance on the quality of your work.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Bonus Points if you:
• Have experience in SaaS sales, food & beverage or startups.
• Are bilingual: Spanish is preferred but we welcome anyone who speaks multiple languages.
• Are an Excel and/or accounting whiz.
