We are a dynamic two-man start-up based in the City of London. With our SaaS platform Paperplanes in development, we are simultaneously disrupting both traditional direct mail and programmatic Adtech by creating a brand new channel – programmatic direct mail. We have already made large strides in the market, working with some of the most recognised brands in the UK and we are now looking for the next member to join our team.
We have ambitious plans to transform our system from the ground up and you have the chance to be here at the very start of our technical transformation. We are looking for an ambitious, driven and relentless individual to head up our Business Development function. We have a strong bank of case studies across all categories and are now looking for the perfect motivated member to help drive awareness of our offering and create new sales opportunities.
• Generate scheduled and qualified sales opportunities using any required support from the wider team when applicable
o Utilise personal networks to generate leads
o Grow value generated from existing clients as well as regularly winning new business
o Key enabler in the ongoing evolution of our offering
o Effective use of social media such as Linkedin to win new business
o Regular reporting with high levels of accuracy
o Ensure prospect databases are regularly maintained and up to date
• Help optimise overall marketing / campaign feedback for Paperplanes
o Provide input into digital marketing activity to generate qualifies sales leads
o Provide market positioning intelligence for existing product set
• Over deliver on expectations ensuring the highest possible level of service to prospects and clients:
Any prospects are always followed up with information or response to agreed timescales and quality levels
o The prospect understands Paperplanes potential contribution to their business
o Effective opportunity management from initial contact to purchase order / invoice
o Maintaining efficient internal processes that ultimately maximises sales activity
o Key ambassador of Paperplanes ensuring contact with potential prospects is always professional
o All prospecting and sales practices are compliant and professional
• Work with CEO team to support a professional on-boarding process and management for all clients
o Transfer client requirements into on-boarding plans and processes
o Support initial set-up and handover process
o Provide digital analysis as required for new and existing clients
o Support training programmes through acquiring deep knowledge of analytics, data and digital products and their applications
• To deliver against an agreed revenue target for Paperplanes within 19/20
• To generate and adequately follow up with prospects in a way that generates incremental sales
• To grow value from existing clients creating long and profitable working relationships with key suppliers
