The Lead Engineer will work directly with the CEO to establish best practices for the company, including technical hiring, architecture, security and go-to-market strategy for new products. The ideal candidate will have experience working in and growing early stage companies.

Requirements:

7+ Years as an engineer, working on complex projects requiring use of a variety of technologies
3+ Years in a manager role, leading others
Demonstrated proficiency working within teams and individually
Experience with multiple open source languages (PHP,Rails,Python)
Experience with GIT
Experience with both SQL and NoSQL Databases

Desired:

Proven success working with/for major financial institution(s), preferably in online trading, exchanges or data aggregation and interpretation
Instinctually entrepreneurial, recognizing and understanding business needs
Experience hiring for technical positions
Experience with Continuous Integration
Experience with Chef or Puppet
Experience with Nagios
