RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Launch Manager, you are a mini-founder. You will be tasked with identifying and launching new brand concepts on top of our brand platform. You will collaborate directly with our founders and be responsible for leading a small cross-functional team in launching new brands across verticals (cosmetics, fashion, home & kitchen etc...)

You will own all strategy and execution through launch and early stages of multiple business lines. Your work will range from researching new product angles across diverse categories, guiding website UX, writing copy for landing pages and running digital marketing campaigns. While you'll have team members to help in these areas, you are comfortable jumping into any as needed and can form high conviction opinions.

You will move quickly - often working on & testing multiple concepts in parallel. When bottlenecks arise, you improvise and push to keep velocity & quality.

You are more of an early-stage founder than later-stage executive.

You are rigorously analytical, but also operational & entrepreneurial enough to create a 0-1 moment.

You are creative, data-driven, customer-centric and curious. Building things gives you energy.

Things you will do:

- Define and develop a clear vision, mission, and go-to-market strategy for new brand concepts
- Research, prioritize and suggest new brand concepts.
- Evaluate market viability of new brands across paid, influencer and other digital channels
- Launch and scale brand concepts, leading a cross functional team of design, engineering & supply chain
- Own product positioning, pricing for your business lines
- Continue as an advisor to the brand as it scales into a larger business line or continue to scale the brand(s) that you launch as CEO/COO/GM


QUALIFICATIONS

- You should thrive in entrepreneurial environments
- You should have a bias toward informed action in situations with limited data.
- You have a broad range of skills, but are an expert in at least ONE of the following:
-- Identifying new market opportunities in CPG
-- Paid digital acquisition in at least 1 platform
-- Influencer Marketing
-- Brand & design
-- Product development for CPG in at least 1 category
-- PR / building large hype around a product
- You are hands on.
- Candidate should be comfortable across: customer acquisition and data analytics, e-commerce marketing, product development and product marketing, managing creative process & social media strategy. Retail & affiliate partnerships is a big plus
- You understand how to balance data and deep customer empathy when building a brand experience
- You are persuasive. You understand how to translate this into a brand experience and effective product launch
+1 for prior experience product management, management consulting, venture capital, private equity or high-growth startups
+1 for prior experience launching consumer brands
+2 if you are a former founder
