ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you like using digital marketing tools and data to help early-stage businesses find product-market fit? Do you use A/B testing to validate product and audience hypotheses? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment with scientists, educators, developers, engineers and AI researchers?

Oyalabs is looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketer to help structure, execute, oversee, and analyze campaign performance across a wide range of digital channels. The ideal candidate understands best practices in the fields of SEO, SEM, A/B Testing, User Testing, marketing channels, automation and a growing list of related fields.

One-part marketer, one-part growth-hacker, and one-part technical communicator, you will be responsible for planning campaign architecture, designing campaign briefs for creative and production teams, regularly monitoring conversions and platform health and delivering analyses to both internal and client-side stakeholders.

Day-to-day you could be working on campaigns for new product launches, seasonal promotions, or setting up longer-term, always-on programs. This is a global role, so you will be working with our teams in America and Hong Kong to deliver relevant campaigns across Paid Digital.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Take consumer and audience data, research, and strategy and convert learnings into actionable marketing tactics across a range of digital channels

· Maintain and contribute through strong knowledge of evolving digital marketing landscape, including high proficiency in many of the following: Facebook Ads (video, chatbot, etc.), Google Adwords, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEOMoz, SEMRush, Optimizely, Survey Monkey, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio (or equivalent software alternatives)

· Aid in setting goals for various campaigns and digital properties, including KPI tracking and benchmark development

· Interface with social media and content team regularly to ensure proper cross-platform relationships are in-place and up to standards

· Analysing campaign performances and take appropriate actions to continuously improve based on data.

· Campaign Management: ultimately, as you grow into the role we want someone who can work with our global and regional leadership to design and manage the delivery of multi-channel digital executions that drive growth across all our segments

· Last, but importantly: improve and refine what we do! We love new ideas, to learn what we could do better, and to get experimental. We’re looking for someone who loves the data and can use it to come up with creative opportunities for growth

+ Bonus points for: front-end programming experience or at least an understanding of web programming concepts, experience with data visualization in reporting, experience with SMS/Messenger/chatbot marketing, and/or experience with mobile app publishing/marketing.


WHAT WE VALUE

· Ideally: 3-5+ years of digital marketing experience; Paid media/Search / Display / Social / Video/SEO. However, if you’re a hustler and learn fast, don’t let this deter you

· Bachelor’s degree in business, journalism, communications, or related field.
2+ years of experience in owned media / social media marketing / community management

· Practical agency experience and/or in-house operational (portfolio of prior work would be a bonus)

Strong analytical approach and capability with a deep understanding and passion for the entire mobile/web ecosystem

Familiarity with best-in-class examples of brands in digital marketing and a range off web-based content management systems, digital asset management systems, and CRM software

Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work within tight deadlines and present work effectively

Must be organized, efficient and have strong attention to detail with an ability to work autonomously, take ownership of projects and work in a collaborative fashion with all teams

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
