We are searching for a full-time SDT for Robot Control whose work will help us improve the capabilities our AI software products, which combine state-of-the-art perception algorithms with powerful adaptive decision-making abilities. Our products endow industrial robots with the level of autonomy needed to perform an extensive variety of useful tasks and integrate tightly with our customers’ complex software environments.

As one of our first SDTs, you will enable us to ship high quality and stable Robotic Control Systems to our customers. You will help us embrace quality and testing as a part of our culture. You will be involved in all stages of development, from inception and initial implementation to deployment to customers. You will collaborate with all engineering teams including Integrations, Robot Control, Machine Learning and more to set a high quality standard for all of our features and products.

What You'll be Doing
- Work with the Robotics Controls Team(s) to validate motion plans
- Work on Robotics/other real world Simulation Test Infrastructure
- Perform Performance Testing and Benchmarking
- Work with Developers and Product to document edge cases as early as possible in the agile process

Experience and Skills You'll Need
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of Visualization Tools and Techniques
- Experience with Unit/Integration tests in Simulation
- Experience with robotics, auto automation
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required (we do sponsor H1B transfer)

Bonus if You Have
- Experience with 3D scene understanding and object detection/segmentation from vision
- Worked with robotic manipulation hardware: arms, 3D cameras, force sensors
Experience with motion planning, computer vision, kinematics, dynamics
