We are searching for a full-time Robotics Software Engineer whose work will help us improve the capabilities our AI software products, which combine state-of-the-art perception algorithms with powerful adaptive decision-making abilities. Our products endow industrial robots with the level of autonomy needed to perform an extensive variety of useful tasks and integrate tightly with our customers’ complex software environments.

As a Robotics Software Engineer you will work closely with our Machine Learning team to explore new and unique approaches to solving problems in the complex perception and control tasks we face. You will be involved in experiment development, from inception and initial implementation to evaluation on our robotic platforms. Your collaboration with machine learning researchers and other engineers will advance the performance of some of our most critical tech components.

What You'll be Doing:
You will be responsible for the design and implementation of SW experiments that directly impact the performance of our product
You will measure performance, communicate results, and propose the best solutions to be adopted into Osaro’s tech stack
You will translate prototyped experiments into production ready code to ship to our customers

Experience and Skills You'll Need:
MS in Computer Science or equivalent 2-3+ years of professional experience
Working knowledge of writing Python under Linux
Experience with experiment design and data analysis
Feel a strong sense of ownership over your projects and take the initiative to propose creative and new approaches
Loves to take on challenges independently and in collaborative settings
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required (we do sponsor H1B transfer)

Bonus if You Have:
Experience working with robotics or other hardware
Knowledge of fundamental Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts
