Hey there, we’re Ori Industries! 👋
At Ori, we’re building the future of cloud infrastructure. Our team is laying the foundations for the next-generation cloud that developers will use to build the most innovative applications of the future.
We empower network owners to build, distribute and manage their edge computing resources and create the tools for a new generation of cutting-edge deployments for industry verticals like gaming, finance and industrial IoT.
Day-to-day, an Ori Software Engineer will:
x Code predominantly in Go (therefore experience with Go, or a similar language, is a must)
x Develop and use Cloud and baremetal infrastructure
x Build upon a solid understanding of Kubernetes as a container orchestrator
x Confidently work with Kubernetes at all levels (App developer, Operator, internal developer, etc)
x Develop on and within Kubernetes (using Controllers, CRDs, etc.)
x Build on experience of Cloud Native technologies (such as Prometheus)
x Comfortably contribute to open-source environments
You should apply if:
x You think the work we’re doing is exciting!
x You’re familiar with some of the technologies noted above
x You want to help build, scale and operate the next generation of cloud, supporting a product that will power the next generation of technology
x You’re keen to learn more about new technologies and the inner workings of the infrastructure and networks our technological world is built on
x You’re comfortable working in a team and being collaborative across teams
x You are happy to explain to your colleagues the finer details of your work
x You are happy to coach/mentor more junior colleagues as you gain confidence in skills and technologies
x You want to be part of a team which strives for open communication, kindness and empathy
