Why we need you
We're looking for a Chief of Staff to join the office of the CTO.

As chief of staff to the CTO, you'll be tasked with ensuring the consistency and strong communication between the different technology groups, as well as between departments. You'll soundboard ideas from all people across the organization and beyond, summarize and present them to the CTO. And you'll make sure decisions are executed accordingly after decisions have been made.

You’ll create, drive, and maintain a culture of delivery in the engineering department. Moreover, this position will Help the business team to manage delivery expectations with customers, as well as provide visibility to all involved of what features are being delivered and estimates of when they will ship.

What you will be doing
- Create, manage, monitor, and control the department’s budget and budget cycles.
- Cultivate and maintain culture and practice of testing software product, whether by engineer or specialist tester.
- Set up framework and environment for end-to-end responsibility for quality (placing maximum responsibility on engineers).
- Ensure toolchains manage as much automated build, testing, deployments as possible. Develop and implement risk mitigation and disaster recovery plans.

You'll also share the following responsibilities with the CTO:

- Develop people leadership and success recognition. Communicate the technology vision. Make sure that the engineering team know what's going on in the wider business.
- Drive the performance management and performance evaluation of technology. Ensure that there's a well understood system in place. Establish, encourage and champion a culture of teamwork.
- Set and model the engineering culture. Be the example of how to act and how to behave. Develop and communicate the principles of behavior and best practice.
- provide strategic counsel to the CTO and help identify the areas where to focus and identify metrics for success.

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Management, or related fields.
- 7+ years in a management role in IT industry
- Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
- Excellent communicator in English (written and verbal form)
- Proven experience of planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Demonstrate leadership and vision in managing projects and staff

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Management, IT, or related fields.
- Experience with data analysis
- Experience with budget management
- Consulting experience with a focus on operations management
- Ability to work across multiple functions - including Engineering, Product Management, Sales& Marketing, Finance, People Operations, and Legal.
