We recently secured a round of growth capital and now we’re doubling down on our early success by expanding into North America, launching a number of new product features and scaling customer acquisition.

Description

What’s this role all about?

Okendo is building an extensive ecosystem of strategic partnerships with leading development agencies and technology vendors who evangelize our technology to their clients. This is the Okendo Partner Program. The Strategic Partner Manager position is all about building, managing and nurturing these relationships in North America. You will have a high degree of autonomy and can expect to wear many hats; from sales consultant and client services liaison to partner manager and marketing strategist.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

(1) Developing & maintaining relationships with strategic agency & technology partners.
(2) Maintaining a quota of high-value sales opportunities sourced from your partner portfolio.
(3) Proactively supporting complex sales-cycles alongside your partners.
(4) Providing partners with ongoing product, sales, and enablement training.
(5) Collaborating with partners on various sales and marketing initiatives including representing Okendo at eCommerce events - at least once a month.


Requirements

What do you need to be successful?

(1) 3+ years of experience in a partnerships or sales role at an organization within the Shopify ecosystem
(2) Excited by the opportunity to travel throughout North America to visit partners.
(3) Excellent presentation skills, strong networker and engaging levels of enthusiasm.
(4) Ability to think through problems and prioritize tasks based on their relative importance.
(5) A high degree of commitment and resilience as you work to enable the best outcomes for your clients and help the company achieve its objectives.

(1) 5+ years of quota carrying, B2B SaaS software, agency or technology sales
(2) An existing network of contacts within the e-commerce industry
(3) Worked with a CRM tool like HubSpot or Salesforce before
(4) Experience working at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company
(5) Experience thriving with remote work
