Okendo is a customer-marketing platform for the world’s fastest-growing consumer brands. The platform is a suite of integrated marketing products including customer ratings and reviews, UGC, and Q&A which brands use to build trust, drive sales and maximize customer lifetime value. We recently secured a round of growth capital and now we’re doubling down on our early success by expanding into North America, launching a number of new product features and scaling customer acquisition.

Description

What’s this role all about?

Okendo is looking for ambitious individuals wanting to harness their entrepreneurial spirit and determination to sell it’s industry-leading customer-marketing software to online retailers in North America. This is a unique opportunity to be an early stage team member of the company’s newly established US office. You will work alongside the US leadership team (including the CEO) to develop and execute sales and go-to-market campaigns that successfully generate new sales opportunities and customer accounts. As an early hire, you will have a major contribution to the culture of Okendo’s US office and will be optimally positioned to grow with the company.

Responsibilities

What will you be doing?

(1) Effectively communicating Okendo solutions to fast-growing online retailers
(2) Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts and the key decision-makers within them.
(3) Creating connections within targeted accounts and introducing them to the Okendo product offering using sophisticated outreach strategies and techniques.
(4) Scheduling and delivering sales calls and product demonstrations.
(5) Owning the full sales cycle from qualification, pitching to closing.
(6) Qualifying and closing inbound leads from the Okendo website and the Shopify App Store.
(7) Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
(8) Providing an exceptional customer experience from the first meeting to hand over of new clients to Customer Success
(9) Accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue achievement through proper use of sales tools such as Hubspot and Outreach.
(10) Collaborating with Okendo’s leadership team to design, iterate and optimize the company’s core sales strategies and tactics, including the development of sales playbooks and supporting materials.
(11) Supporting local marketing efforts such as Shopify Meetups and industry events.

Requirements

What do you need to be successful?

(1) Proven sales experience, ideally selling SaaS
(2) Track record of over-achieving revenue quotas
(3) Excellent verbal and written communications skills
(4) Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm.
(5) Emotional intelligence, determination, resilience
(6) Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
(7) A genuine interest in providing solutions that enable businesses to grow through the utilization of customer-centric marketing strategies
(8) Eager and able to receive and implement feedback to further improve sales tactics
(9) BA/BS degree or equivalent
