The Opportunity:

The Client Services Representative for our API Data Products is the key link between current customers and the internal Octopart team. Your mission is to provide an excellent experience to our customers through rapid and effective issue resolution and working with our internal team to advocate for the voice of the customer.

You will help our customers with contact and billing information updates, review of monthly API call quantities, as well as the support of technical questions related to functional use of the Octopart API and resulting problems.

Your success will be a function of thoughtful and well-communicated responses tailored to each customer, developing an understanding of the different API use-cases to proactively address issues, and effectively communicating technical issues between customers and our engineering team. You will also strive to achieve swift target response and resolution timeframes and working to continually improve our internal processes and response templates to customers.

About You:

- You are an enthusiastic professional with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- You have a great appreciation for the value of delivering an exceptional customer experience through previous experiences in highly customer-centric roles (not just within a tech company)
- You are proactive, persistent and pay great attention to detail, truly understanding a customer’s needs and working tirelessly to find a solution
- You have 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (we are also open to recent graduates who exhibit the core competencies and attitude that we’re seeking).
- Experience with API/data structures or writing API code/requests is not required, but we are seeking someone who is eager to learn and build their skillset through the practical application of working with our customers and internal team.
- BA/BS degree or higher level of education is required.
