Nutrimedy is a telenutrition platform that connects patients to clinical dietitians through a mobile HIPAA compliant app to improve engagement and deliver a personalized technology enabled solution for over 50 conditions. With Nutrimedy, organizations can provide their population access to a network of dietitians hand selected to fit their unique needs based on factors such as prevalent conditions and languages. To get started, patients simply download the app, identify their organization when registering, and select a recommended dietitian. The app not only provides one-on-one video sessions, but allows patients to stay engaged through unlimited secure messaging, customizable trackers, photo food log, and in-between session feedback to help patients reach their goals.

Nutrimedy is looking to add an experienced business development director familiar with the MedTech, Healthcare, and/or Pharmaceutical fields. The business development manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships with industry partners. We are looking for someone who is highly creative, energetic and entrepreneurial and will bring an urgency to this role. A successful candidate will have a track record of effective, credible lead follow-up and sales development at multiple levels within an organization.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Develop and drive an effective business development process
-Build a BD pipeline with potential prospects across pharma, medtech, health systems, payors and employers. Understand industry needs and opportunities, and ultimately identify, negotiate, and close deals.
-Build relationships with major healthcare organizations and other types of groups such as nonprofits that share our mission and can help expand our reach within the industry
-Actively network with industry organizations to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities.
-Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage
-Work closely with internal team members (across all functional areas) to introduce potential deals and growth opportunities
-Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback
-Keep abreast of new product features, customer success stories.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of work experience.
-Qualified candidates must have a desire to work in a startup environment
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent listening skills.
-Ability to lead conversations and ask open-ended questions.
-Self-starter with a passion for healthcare
-Enthusiasm, competitiveness, and willingness to learn are a must.
