Novopay is a fintech startup, incubated 4 years ago, serves 3.3M unique customers every month and profitable already!

Design at Novopay is still evolving, so you have a unique opportunity to define the design DNA of the company.

We design products, business plans, technical diagrams, presentations, proposals, t-shirts, business cards among other things in-house and are expecting folks who are versatile and multidisciplinary. You will never be boxed and we will encourage you to to be hands-on at any design work you like.

We experiment with various ideas and technologies all the time, and you are welcome to have crazy ideas. Nobody will penalize you for creating something new and useful :)

We don't believe in a rigid hierarchy here. Every idea of yours will be well received all the way from 'chiefs' to developers. You don't need to fix an appointment to discuss your ideas!

Here are some skills that we're keen on:

- You must have a strong foundation in color, space, type and composition
- You must take initiative and be able to handle projects independently
- Things change rapidly here. So you should remain cool to work under pressure and shorter timelines
- You should have good empathy and understanding of the users and context of the problems. Most of our user base is non-skilled and semi-literate.
- You need to communicate with the developers closely to make sure your design is translating exactly and at the same time be open to genuine feedback around feasibility and other concerns
- Sketch and Adobe Suite are our primary tools, and so you must be familiar with them. Any other expertise you bring-in is welcome too.
