Editor

Telling stories is core to what Noa does, and we’re looking for a passionate Editor to join our content team to help deliver on this. Working with our other editors, you will actively select the best news, analysis, and opinion articles available from our publishers. Underlying your selections will be the goal of guiding our target audience through topics that matter to them. To further advance this same goal, you will also create original content to contextualise these stories.

Candidates should have a strong interest in our core coverage areas of politics, business, finance and economics. You should feel a desire to constantly stay informed on the biggest news stories across these fields while having enthusiasm for informing others of these developments.

Your typical day:
• Monitor the news flow across the team’s primary coverage areas;
• Select the most relevant articles suitable for audio from our publisher line-up;
• Prepare these articles for narration, providing adequate guidance to our readers;
• Allocate the audio content to the most appropriate area/story within the app;
• Create original content that contextualises and compliments our publishers’ articles.

This is a permanent, full time position.
