Our Story:

NeuroFlow CEO and West Point graduate Christopher Molaro served in the US Army for five years, including a tour in Iraq as a platoon leader. Coming back home, he experienced firsthand the gaps in the behavioral health system, and upon completing his Wharton MBA, teamed up with co-founder/COO Adam Pardes to launch NeuroFlow in 2017. Beginning as a team of six people working in an office fit for two, we’ve since grown rapidly (over 30 employees and 10X revenue year-over-year growth) and earned numerous accolades from CNBC and others for our mission-driven, innovative work. NeuroFlow tools already support tens of thousands of people at hundreds of organizations including Jefferson Health and the United States Air Force.

What We Do:

NeuroFlow is a digital health company combining workflow automation, engagement tools, and applied AI to promote behavioral health integration in all care settings. NeuroFlow’s suite of HIPAA-compliant, cloud-based tools simplify remote patient monitoring, improve risk stratification, and facilitate collaborative care. With NeuroFlow, care teams can finally bridge the gap between behavioral and physical health to improve outcomes and reduce the cost of care.

How You Will Help:

You will be responsible for keeping our single-instance multi-tenant SaaS platform & all user-facing service production systems running smoothly. SREs are a blend of pragmatic operators and software craftspeople that apply sound engineering principles, operational discipline, and mature automation to our environments and the NeuroFlow codebase.


-- Be on a PagerDuty rotation to respond to neuroflowlive.com availability incidents and provide support for service engineers with customer incidents
-- Use your on-call shift to prevent incidents from ever happening
-- Run our infrastructure with tools like Terraform and Kubernetes
-- Focus monitoring and alerting to alert on symptoms before they become outages
-- Document every action so your findings turn into repeatable actions–and then into automation
-- Improve the deployment process to make it as boring as possible
-- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure pieces that allow NeuroFlow scaling to support hundreds of thousands of concurrent users
-- Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack
-- Plan the growth of NeuroFlow's infrastructure

Examples of Projects:

-- Coding infrastructure automation with Terraform
-- Implementing Prometheus monitoring
-- Helping release managers deploy and fix new versions of NeuroFlow mobile apps & web platform.
-- Plan, prepare for and execute the migration of neuroflowlive.com from virtual machines running on AWS to cloud-native container-based deployments with Kubernetes using Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)
-- Develop a relationship with the product team, define their SLAs, share neuroflowlive.com data on those SLAs and improve their reliability

About You:

-- Think about systems - edge cases, failure modes, behaviors, specific implementations
-- Know your way around Linux and the Unix Shell
-- Know what is the use of to manage infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
-- Have strong programming skills - Python and/or Go
-- Have an urge to collaborate and communicate asynchronously
-- Have an urge to document all the things so you don't need to learn the same thing twice
-- Have an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude. When you see something broken, you can't help but fix it
-- Have an urge for delivering quickly and iterating fast
-- Share our values, and work in accordance with those values
-- Have experience with AWS, Nginx, HAProxy, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar technologies
