Community Manager

Role overview

We are looking for a crypto-anarchist social media wizard, who understands and thrives for the value of privacy and wants to contribute to an open-source, community project. Amplifying and increasing the awareness of our narrative is something you have in your veins and you excel doing.

Managing all our channels simultaneously and engaging with meaningful conversations, your goal is not only to increase our user base but to connect our project to our community, fluidly and always on point. You will swiftly and intelligently navigate through the noise, represent Navcoin professionally, and ensure that our messages are accurately conveyed.

With self-driven proactivity, you will fully own and steer all the Community Management in Navcoin, contributing to the delivery of very high-quality communication with existing and new community members, including community calls, interviews, and overall project updates.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage our general community on Discord, Twitter & Reddit
• Protect the community from spam, misinformation, and irrelevant posts
• Synthesize insights from community interactions and surface critical issues to the team
• Plan and execute community calls and events
• Identify potential community members that could contribute further to the project by assigning additional roles and handing over responsibilities on Discord
• Management of a regular content schedule across all social platforms to improve awareness of our narratives, projects, products, and ecosystem*

Requirements

• Native-level communication skills in English
• Patience for endless questions from community members, and building relationships with them
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with core social media platforms with a thorough understanding of the latest social media trends and strategies

Bonus points

• Experience in blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies communication and vocabulary
• True passion for cryptocurrencies as a disrupting technology and for the importance of privacy-preserving tools
