Data acquisition historically has been opaque and cumbersome to both acquire and normalize in a way that is usable for all use cases/needs a company might have for the data; at Narrative, we’re making the most useful, most specific, deduplicated data relevant to buyers available in the preferred data format.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for their sales counterparts. This role manages the outbound prospecting new business, qualifying active buying interest, and identifying critical decision makers. The SDR will need to be able to articulate the Narrative.io value proposition in-market.

You will also be responsible for creating a memorable first impression on behalf of Narrative.io for prospective marketers who are interested in leveraging their customer data to drive marketing impact. Ultimately, we are looking for a hungry, driven, and self-motivated hunter. This position would report into the Head of Growth.


Scale the growth sector within Narrative.io

Identify new advertisers and their decision makers within the marketing department

Build an outbound prospecting cadence that generates responses

Raise the awareness level of Narrative.io within Direct-To-Consumer advertisers.

1-2 years of experience in identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new business.

1+ years’ experience with general knowledge in DMP, CDP or other marketing technologies preferable.

Ability to thrive in a high-paced, rapid growth environment.

Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media.

Schedule discovery meetings for Sales team to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnership with Narrative.io.

Ability to communicate the value of Narrative.io and position in-marketplace.

Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned.

Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to hit the ground running and drive impact.

Experience working in an agile environment, startup experience preferred.

Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
