The Nana Academy runs ongoing education and helps bridge the growing automation gap by creating entirely new skilled professionals.

We’re excited to launch in new markets, make more investments in our in-person and online training efforts, and launch new verticals and product offerings. It’s a fun team as well — we have monthly BBQs with our technicians and are lucky to have an incredible office on the 11th floor of the beautiful and historic Oakland Tribune Tower (right off 12-street BART). We’re looking forward to finding the perfect person for this role!

We’re looking for our 2nd and 3rd marketing hire. For this role, we're looking for someone that has some foundations in digital marketing and is excited to build and expand entirely new digital and offline channels. Ideally, you have some experience in SEM, but it’s not a firm requirement. You’ll be essential to the growth of the team and company overall. Most importantly, you need to be someone that wants to learn and grow at a rapid pace.

- Conceptualize, plan, and execute digital marketing campaigns.
- Help run tests and conduct evaluations of select new channels (Facebook/Instagram, Direct mail, webchat, SEO / link-building, OOH).
- Day to day management and ongoing optimization of Google Ads (e.g. SEM)
- Refine ongoing optimization and reporting (CAC/ROAS) across top channels
- Conversion rate optimization across ad landing page and key funnels
- Overhaul of email programs to increase bookings and retention
- Programs are not limited to digital and can also include collateral development, events & sponsorships, merchandise/brand, etc.
- Inform marketing attribution and reporting capabilities by refining and identifying new tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Salesforce or CRM equivalent, etc.)

- Creative, disciplined, curious, organized
- 1-4 years digital marketing experience and analyzing marketing based data
- Experience working in a fast-paced work environment (start-up, small digital agency, etc.)

- Flexible copywriting skills with the ability to write succinct ad copy (and if not an openness to have this as a responsibility)
- 1+ years directly managing SEM accounts
- Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Sendgrid/Iterable
- Experience with advertising on additional channels (Facebook/IG, Youtube, etc.)
