MSC serves as a mentor, big sister, and best friend as she navigates the immense pressures that occur during high school, college, and the early parts of her career. MSC invites this girl into every part of its brand – including her ideas in the inspiration and design of their products. MSC validates her talents and her worth, easing the pressure of transitions, and equipping her with the resources and confidence she needs to design the life she loves.

My Social Canvas “MSC” is a social-impact fashion accessories and technology company whose products are inspired by girls, for girls. Our mission is to connect with girls ages 16-24 to equip and empower them to design the life and career they love.

We are growing fast! With the launch of products at 1,500 retail locations and the release of an innovative new tech platform, we are positioned for growth. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team as we disrupt the social impact fashion space through the launch of MSC 2.0.

VP of Business Development

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic VP of Business Development to help us expand our reach with corporate sponsors, fashion brands, and retail partners. You will be the face of My Social Canvas alongside our VP of Business Development, Chief Marketing Officer, and CEO/Founder to our brand partners.

The goal is to drive sustainable growth by building on existing partnerships and developing new relationships with strategic partners.


Support CEO and CMO in outreach to brand partners
Manage and direct outreach to wholesale partners
Manage outreach to campus partners driving revenue with 16-24 year old girls (My Social Canvas' target market)

Develop a growth strategy focused on long-term profitable relationships
Conduct research to identify new markets and creative development opportunities
Arrange business meetings with potential sponsors and retail partners
Promote the company’s products/services addressing clients’ objectives
Keep thorough records of sales and revenue projections etc.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers


Proven working experience as a business development manager, account manager, or a relevant role
Knowledge of fashion, social entrepreneurship, and campus market
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport and get referrals from existing contacts and clients
Time management and planning skills
Tireless work ethic
Knowledge of licensing partnerships/structure within fashion industry
Knowledge of product development and wholesale
Excellent communication skills

Compensation and structure depend on experience; could include equity for the right candidate.

Compensation will also include a Base Salary, Team Bonus, and commission potential.

Required Education and Experience
2+ years as a Business Development Manager
Bachelor’s in Business, or MBA equivalent
