The Role
Skills and Experiences:
* Experience with payment solutions (ie PayPal, Braintree, Website Payments Standard)
* Experience with highly scalable eCommerce platform, payments (Stripe/PayPal) highly desired!
* Experience with S-a-a-S architecture is desired.
* Improve and refactor our back-end service integration, business workflow, and payment processes for performance and scalability.
* Experience with Javascript, Node, Mongo, REST, and AWS
* Background working in small teams with Lean methodologies
* Understanding of version control, preferably git
* At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
* Experience with AWS highly desired! Ability to handle support and operations of our AWS servers.
* Excellent server architecture, programming and debugging skills with modern open technologies such as REST API.
* Large systems software design and development experience, with extensive knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
* Solid understanding of database design and performance tuning.
* Experience developing product in an agile environment following practices such as frequent releases, code reviews, and retrospectives.
* Motivation to excel in a fast-paced start-up environment, and a high attention to details.
