Monexo Tech Development (Web Lead)

Monexo is 100% Digital. Monexo’s web presence plays a major role in onboarding, transaction fulfilling, servicing as well as communicating with both borrowers and lenders on the marketplace. This role is a critical role for the tech team as well as the organization.

Our MVP is already live. The new incumbent is required to take the product to next level with the best practices on web development, build AGILE team and create new features.

Key responsibilities:

• Understand the Business Requirement Document & Build Functional Requirement
• Build most efficient, reusable, lean and fast product for web.
• Implement AGILE development framework.
• Lead the web development team. Coordinating and distributing the task within the team members. Manage day-to-day operational issues.
• Build SEO compliant website and pages
• Drive A/B testing, as and when required
• Coding and technical support.
• Plan and deliver project tasks within the agreed timelines.

Who is our ideal candidate?

● At least 4 years of hands-on experience on a CodeIgniter PHP MVC framework
● Good Understanding of Salesforce, Web-engage and Google analytics.
● Framework – Good Working knowledge in CodeIgniter and MVC framework pattern.
● Familiarity with REST APIs and Web services.
● Well Experience in Bug tracking.
● Good knowledge in DBMS like MySQL.
● Project Management and Resource Management competency for PHP development.
● Ability to quickly grasp the functionalities of application under development and adapting the dynamic changes easily
● Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, JSON and Gitlab.
● Develop object-oriented web applications using with PHP.
● Excellent knowledge of Responsive layout such as Bootstrap.
● Basic knowledge of Linux administration.
● Proficient in (OOPS)PHP & MySQL.
● Familiar with technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Web service, JavaScript, JSON, CodeIgniter Framework.
● Excellent database design and implementation skills.
● Define best practices, delivery methodology and implement quality assurance during the projects build phase.
● Experience with AWS or Amazon cloud is a plus.
● Good verbal and communications skills.
● Knowledge with source repo such as Git/SVN also helpful.
● Good working knowledge in Web services/API
● Experience in any responsive front-end frameworks like Bootstrap
