Our Business Analyst's primary objective is helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Demonstrate excellent understanding of the way the organisation works and the sector it operates in, as you will be helping the organisation to develop its functions, services and products to meet goals with internal and external stakeholders.
2) Play a key role in communicating between internal departments and external parties, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to incorporate how information technology can support the organisation's needs.
3) Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole.
4) Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service/function/product provided.
5) Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
6) Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions you have made.
7) Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce your recommendations.
8) Gain agreement, usually from senior management, of the best method of introducing your recommendations to the business.
9) Communicate the benefits of your recommendations across departments and help to address any uncertainty and concern.
10) Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary.
11) Support the staff and teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues;
12) Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.

KEY SKILLS:
1) 1+ years of broad IT domain experience in three or more of the following areas: Applications Development, Enterprise Architecture, Project Management, Vendor Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, and Maintenance and Support Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
2) A degree in IT / Computer Science
3) Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
4) Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
5) Solid experience in writing SQL queries
6) Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
7) Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
8) Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication
9) Demonstrated analytical skills
10) Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts
11) Familiarity with general business functions
12) Problem solving and strong communication skills
