We're a team of foodies, obsessed with customer experiences and care for our users and each other. We're constantly looking for more automation and efficiency in everything we do, while building our technology accordingly. As of today, we're still the only catering marketplace in the US to control the entire customer experience, from ordering to delivering using our proprietary technology with enormous opportunities to scale.
The Operations Manager will work closely with our team to manage the day to day logistics of MobyDish, and responsible for ensuring every catering order is fulfilled the MobyDish way! This role will require you to be comfortable with making impactful decisions that will establish the protocol for how we conduct deliveries in the city.
Our growth is dependent on your ability to navigate the streets of and to deal with the environmental conditions, (both natural and manmade), to ensure on time delivery.
You'll be recruiting new drivers, training them and will ensure everything is done the right way. Your capacity to recruit and inspire people to do the right thing in order to provide the best experience to our customers will be key to your success in the company.
Since we're a small team, we do love people who are comfortable wearing multiple hats, have a strong entrepreneurial mindset and are not scared of getting out of their comfort zone. You'll be dealing with customer service, marketing and use your drivers to drive even more growth to the company.
New ideas and ways to improve/automate things in the company are always welcome. We are a tech company and believe that combining kick-ass tech with amazing customer service is what will make us win!
- 2+ years of experience in an Logistics/ops Role.
- Knowledge of how food delivery currently works
- Inherent passion for food and the ability to convey that to potential restaurant partners, customers and drivers
- Ability to juggle multiple things at once without neglecting anyone.
- Comfortable hiring, training, and maintaining relationships with all of our drivers.
- A natural need to be the best at what you do.
- Be a team player and focus on the solution, not the problem.
- Provide a feel good vibe to your team, drivers, customers and vendors.
