About the position

As a Community Outreach Liaison, you will help grow community participation in Miro’s online brain health programs. You will establish relationships with community members and organizations to grow our program participation. Potential partnerships include local and nationwide patient support groups for neurological and psychiatric conditions such as stroke, concussion, cancer, MS, ADHD as well as local sports teams, retirement communities, churches, and Kiwanis clubs. You must be comfortable meeting new people, cold calling organizations and individuals, presenting to groups, explaining Miro products, programs, and science. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing and warm personality, marketing acumen, and be social media savvy.

Responsibilities
Job duties often include communicating information to the public, organizing outreach campaigns, designing social media events, publicizing Miro research campaigns, coordinating events, and closely tracking uptake.

-Work with business and marketing to craft a local and nationwide outreach strategy
-Manage community interaction and feedback; identify and prioritize features to support rapid marketplace adoption; deliver feedback to product and business teams
-Formulate strategies and marketing materials to expand community participation in Miro programs
-Provide product and customer support to Community Participants

Minimum qualifications:
-Successful track record of community building
-Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to speak to a wide audience
-Ability to think on your feet

Preferred qualifications:
-M.A. or M.S. in Marketing, Public Health, or a related field
-Knowledge of neurological and psychiatric disorders

-Must have excellent social skills
-Must have outstanding communication abilities, both written and oral
-Must be well organized, precise, and detail-oriented
